Wednesday mumbling

This morning the two furry boys wanted attention at 5am. So here I am. Was sitting with them and they routinely attack each other until their energy depletes. Then they go to food and water. Energy back. Attack. After I figure 45 minutes they are fully baked and need time to lay awhile. It never lasts of course. Puppies being what they are the moment I leave they start needing attention or just wanting the big old retired guy play toy.

It’s a Wednesday. So what I want is a little morning to write whatever. The journal these days is full of little bits of what if. I never figure it’s up to me to control or inject what “should be” in there. There’s nothing in it that should be. Or might be. There’s me and it. Wednesday always feels like a day between other days. Some would say hump day. When I worked it was never some halfway to weekend day. I always worked weekends too.

The walk and then

This morning wonderful blue skies. Lately we have had more rain evenings and early mornings. I like that schedule. Southeast Asia varies between hot and hot and rainy. Cambodian people dress up mostly. Nice shirts with trousers and shoes. Sometimes pairing the clothing either flip flops or crocs. Expats here don’t do the collared shirts and pants. It’s forever shorts and cheap t shirt weather. No one seems to care. If I go to a temple main thing is no tank tops and shirt that cover the knees. There’s no rigid inspection. It the park police do notice how a person looks. Since I have an annual pass to get in I don’t have to do the ticket office ever.

Meanwhile today. Without the waffling and dithering. I guess without that reading time would be null. I only know how to deposit detritus. And sometimes pick it back up and add more.

Since it’s a beautiful morning, here’s a photo of another beautiful place. Maybe not morning but still place that managed to stop me a few times. It all leads backwards and then to this mumbling excuse for a blog post.

Taichung Taiwan

No go enjoy your own Wednesday or almost. We are ahead of some. It’s Wednesday in Siem Reap but I remember Taiwan. Such is life. See you later.
